rkm swachchITANAGAR, Oct 26: As a part of ongoing ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’, the Capital Unit Ke’pang Erang (Society) today conducted a cleanliness drive in the premises of Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar. Altogether, 120 volunteers including Dune-Makbos, Ke’pang well-wishers, students and govt employees took part in the day-long cleanliness programme.
Prominent amongst the participants were MLA Tamiyo Taga, Councilor (Ward No.5) Taba Yall Nabam, GM BSNL Dilip Siram, former AAPSU general secretary Ojing Tasing and others who encouraged the Society members to carry out more such activities.
While speaking on the occasion, Taga advised the participants to maintain cleanliness in public places as well as their premises and surroundings. “Cleanliness is a sign of good health,” observed Taga.
