ITANAGAR, Mar 19: In an effort to create awareness on election manifesto of various political parties among the electorates of the state, the Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR) in collaboration with the Arunachal Civil Society (ACS) is hosting an open debate session ‘Know your Leaders’ at Banquet hall here on March 30 next.
The sitting is meant for all the candidates who are contesting in the forthcoming Parliamentary election.
This was informed by ADR member D Gao, who is an Assistant Professor of RGU, while addressing the media persons here today.
On the initiative taken by the ADR and ACS, he said this is a beginning towards a new era of representative democracy in the state.
The ADR is headed by State Coordinator, Arunachal Election Watch, Dr Nani Bath.
ACS chairman Patey Tayum informed that the debate would be open for every political party or the independent candidates who are going to participate in the ensuing parliamentary election.
The platform will be helpful not only to leaders but also to the general public to know about their candidates and their approach before the election, he said.
