Awareness camp cum cleanliness drive held

ITANAGAR, Sep 30: The students of department of Travel & Tourism Management/Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Rajiv Gandhi Govt Polytechnic, Itanagar organized an awareness camp cum cleanliness drive at the premises of Govt Middle School, Pistana under Lower Subansiri district to mark the occasion of World Tourism Day on September 27.
The programme was aimed at creating awareness on importance of tourism and its role in socio-cultural and economic development of local area. The camp which also focused on sustainable tourism and its importance to future generation was attended by young students, headmaster, teachers, GBs and public of the area.
